WBOI Radio/Recording Studio
WBOI Radio is the voice of the community. We will play only local artists, giving all an opportunity for local airplay while providing opportunities for our youth to learn the music business from a perspective of development and production as well as contracts and licensing.
Our recording studio will provide opportunity for local commercial entities to record commercials and buy airtime on the radio.
Our Radio station will provide opportunities for local artists to purchase airtime for their latest mastered work. This will provide local underground artists an avenue to get their music out to the community on a broader scale. Music must be radio friendly.
Our recording studio will also support Kreative Vibez, LLC a local youth nonprofit lead by Cynthia Jordan that will teach youth the business side of music to include production contracts, performing contracts, etc. as well as recording and mastering.
Local Artists may donate to the program to get booth time to provide the youth opportunities to hands on learn recording, mixing and mastering.
